Outings & Trips

During your child’s Reception year, we endeavour to go on several school trips. These trips will be planned around the learning your children are doing. We often keep our Trips local, giving the children an understanding of their local community and what it has to offer.

We sometimes ask for parent volunteers to help with these trips (Unfortunately we can not accommodate siblings).

School will provide lunch for these trips, and your child will need the following things: - Waterproof Coat - Sensible Shoes for walking (trainers are allowed)

Your child’s progress throughout the year will be documented on our online learning journey platform Evernote. This will include observations, pictures and audio notes. Evernote has a work chat facility which we use as a means of communication between Parents/Carers and classroom staff.
