Back to School

Some suggestions for the beginning of a new term:

  • Label it or lose it! You have a choice of “stick on” or “sew on” labels which you can buy online. Alternatively write your child's name on the labels of their clothes with a permanent marker.

  • It’s always worth checking our “lost property box” in the office if your child has lost an item.

  • Easy iron trousers or tracksuit bottoms work well and save the amount of ironing you have to do.

  • Skirts and dresses are no longer part of our school uniform.

  • All children are provided with a free school lunch – should you wish to opt out please speak to the office to discuss the details.

  • Children have access to our water fountains at all times during the day. In hot weather we might ask you to send in an extra bottle of water. We are a healthy school so please don't send bottles filled with anything other than water.

  • Please don’t put sweets or chocolate in packed lunches or send any into school as part of celebrations such as birthdays. We celebrate Birthday's with a song and sticker during our whole school praise assembly on Fridays which you are more than welcome to attend.

  • Please use our “voluntary one way system” if you are travelling by car.

  • All payments to school are done online via ParentPay.

  • Please book our extended services (Breakfast or After School Clubs) through the office.

  • Make sure we have your current contact details! Has your Emergency contact number/ email  changed? Please let the office know.

  • Please use one of the three letterboxes located on the wall of the main school building when sending in letters, slips etc. (book bags are not checked by staff!) Please label all envelopes with your child’s name and who the content is for.
